I know I said the last update would be the last before the jam's rating period ended, but I lied! After some more playtesting, we found some issues that needed to be addressed, and we figured it wouldn't hurt to fix up some stuff already on our backlog.
Fixes:
- Fixed an RPG Maker MV bug that causes visual freezing on certain setups.
- Disabled fast forwarding through movement routes and cutscenes. (You were not supposed to be able to do this.)
- Fixed a bug where you could temporarily bypass the first chase scene.
- Adjusted Camellia's spawn point and initial direction for a few room transitions.
- Removed awkward pause before a specific journal entry leftover from bugtesting.
- Fixed some more voice sounds not being set to the right character for certain lines.
- Fixed lamp in mother's room being inconsistent if you leave and exit the room.
Changes:
- Journal entries now display immediately, rather than slowly fading in with a typewriter effect.
- You can now choose to not leave a certain location when prompted.
- Adjusted a specific clue for the freezer puzzle so it's easier to read.
- Added a subtler BGM fade for one of the final scenes.
- Adjusted some confusing dialogue when solving the freezer puzzle.
- Adjusted inconsistent dialogue for Camellia when interacting with a specific minor character.
- Adjusted dialogue for an easter egg.
- Added pauses for tone to some dialogue.
Known Issues:

When exploring the house to solve the freezer puzzle, the music might stop or fail to loop.
- This is too inconsistent to test for and is likely due to an extension. We adjusted a few lines that could have been problematic, but we aren't 100% sure what causes the issue.
